The Top 10 Reasons To Lease Over Buying A Car

By Brad G On March 10, 2009 NO COMMENTS

1. When you lease a car you never have to worry about car repairs happening. All new cars come with a lease that covers any drive train repairs like engines, transmissions, or any other major mechanical mishaps. Yes, when you buy a car you get the same warranties but after the warranty is up you are on your own.

2. Since the manufacturer is picking up the tab on all repairs you will be able to bring your car into the dealership without having to spend a dollar. With most dealerships or car repair shops charging over $100 an hour just to take a look at your car this will save you a ton of money.

3. You are getting a new car every two or three years. This way you can change with the times and drive a number of different cars in a life time.

The Top 10 Reasons We Can Lower Oil Prices By Changing The Oil In Our Cars Every 5000 Miles

By Brad G On July 25, 2008 1 COMMENT

1. Oil prices are determined by a economic term called supply and demand. Right now in the world the demand for oil is higher than the supply. It’s not that the oil companies are not pumping the oil its that the people of Earth are consuming more than ever.

2. The rest of the world is trying to act like Americans and Americans are trying to act like them. Places like Russia, China, India, and Brazil are all buying cars of their own now and everybody is trying to get to the point where they own their own car instead of sharing the family vehicle like they use to. The Top 10 Reasons The State Of Michigan Does Not Need To Lower Speed Limits

By Brad G On July 3, 2008 2 COMMENTs

1. The Detroit News posted an article talking about Governor Granholm proposing to lower speed limits on Michigan freeways due to high gas prices. This is dumb.

2. I remember in the past 10 years I have seen gas prices go from $.99 for MIDGRADE to $4.17 for REGULAR as of today. If driving slower to save gas was such an issue why did no brainiacs think about this when gas hit $2 then $3 a gallon. The reason is cause we own a car to be able to get from place to place faster not slower.

3. In a previous post of mine about speed limits I talked about how we need to get rid of them so people can get from place to place faster.

4. Let’s leave it up to the people to decide how slow or fast they want to drive, not tell them how fast. Get rid of the speed limits and you know

The Top 10 Reasons Speed Limits Should Be Removed

By Brad G On June 18, 2008 1 COMMENT

1. With the way prices are climbing on fuel traveling on planes is going to continue to be expensive.

2. We should at least consider removing speed limits on highways, turnpikes, and free ways. By doing so people will obviously be able to get from one place to another faster.

3. The price of air fare lets say from Detroit to New York is right around $300 and it takes about 1.5 hours to get there. You have to take into consideration the hour you have to be there before the flight which is a two hour process. And the 30 minutes after the flight for your bag and the hour to get where ever your going. This is 4-5 hour process. If you could do 100 mph in your car you would be there in about 6 hours at a cost of about $125 at current fuel prices with a car
