The advice of the article sounds illegal. I believe the bank can and will start coming after people of the buy and bail. If they are telling the new lender that they are going to rent out their old home or the new home and do not. It sounds like mortgage fraud. I think the banks will wait a couple of years before they start prosecuting people for fraudulent acts once they are out of the spot light of the news. Why does everyone think it is alright to rip off the system?

We are retired and have lived on the edge for several months now. After some health problems we have gone over the edge. The price of food, gasoline and everything else has gone up and of course Social Security didn't get a raise this year and won't again next year so we are really in a big bind. We feel renting is our option now. When something goes wrong with our furnace, A/C or whatever it will be fixed, something we couldn't afford. We only purchased our house two years ago with very little down so we are letting our house go into forclosure because of all this. It's not the way we would like it but if either of us got sick we'd drown.
